In many teachings of the world consciousness is understood as the highest state of mind humans can evolve into, but Jesus clarifies that “consciousness is correctly understood as the domain of the ego,” and that the “ego is a wrong-minded attempt to perceive yourself as you wish to be, rather than as you are.” This change of perception and the alignment of the mind to the truth is healing as salvation. ◊ <br />
